Project Overview

Our client, a popular automotive company, faced a challenge: how to provide their readers with fresh and diverse content on automotive, racing and tuning topics without having to hire a large team of journalists? The solution lay in AI and automation.

Our goal was to create a system that:

• Automatically scans reliable automotive news sources
• Extracts important information
• Creates a new, unique article
• Adds a reference to the original article
• Posts the article directly to WordPress

Technical Details

In implementing the project, we used several modern technologies:

1. Web scraping

We used specially created scrapers to collect information from reliable automotive news websites. The scrapers were programmed to identify and extract important information such as headlines, main content, and keywords.

2. Databases

The collected information was stored in a structured format in a database. This allowed us to efficiently manage and process large amounts of data.

3. n8n automation platform

We used the n8n platform to create an automated workflow. This platform allowed us to connect different processes - from data collection to posting the final article - into one smooth flow.

4. ChatGPT API

To create new articles, we used the ChatGPT API. This powerful language model allowed us to generate natural language articles based on information collected by the scrapers.

5. WordPress integration

Finally, we integrated the system with WordPress, allowing automatic posting of created articles directly to the client's website.

Workflow

Our created automated workflow looked like this:

1. Scrapers regularly collect information from designated automotive news sources.
2. Collected information is saved to the database.
3. n8n launches a workflow that takes new information from the database.
4. Information is sent to the ChatGPT API along with special instructions for article creation.
5. ChatGPT generates a new, unique article.
6. n8n adds a reference to the original source and other necessary metadata to the article.
7. The article is automatically posted to WordPress, where it undergoes final quality control before publication.

Results

The project result exceeded our expectations:

• The system has successfully created and posted over 50 unique blog posts.
• Articles cover a wide spectrum of automotive topics: new models, racing, tuning, technical reviews, etc.
• The client's website traffic has increased by 30% thanks to regular and diverse content.
• Time spent on news production has decreased by 80%, allowing the team to focus on more strategic tasks.

Challenges and Solutions

During the project, we had to solve several challenges:

1. Text quality

Solution: We developed comprehensive guidelines for ChatGPT to ensure high-quality and contextually appropriate content. We also implemented a quality control mechanism before final publication of articles.
